Austin Technology Council Welcomes New Board Members

Austin, TX, April 3, 2008 — The Austin Technology Council (ATC) announced today the addition of four new members to its Board of Directors. Sam Coursen, Tim Hayden, William Leake and Andy Meadows will join the current Board effective immediately.

"Our Board is made up of outstanding individuals in the Greater Austin technology community that are dedicated to make Austin the greatest technology city in the world,” stated Alisha Ring, ATC President. “I and the entire Board welcome these new members to join us in this mission.”

Sam Coursen joined Freescale Semiconductor as vice president and chief information officer in August 2005, and is responsible for the discovery, development, and delivery of quality information technology services and solutions.

As founder and president of GamePlan Marketing and Events, Tim Hayden is combining experience in interactive marketing, entertainment and media consulting to help brands navigate the turbulent channels of dialogue that stand between them and their market audiences.

William (Bill) Leake founded Apogee Search, a prominent search engine marketing firm in the Southwest, and one of the 20 largest in North America, and prior to that, was a McKinsey consultant and Dell veteran.

Prior to founding Live Oak Interactive, Andy Meadows played numerous roles throughout his career in the formation and evolution of companies across a variety of industries. Currently with Live Oak Interactive, Andy leads deployments of solutions for industry giants such as AMD, Green Mountain Energy and Motorola.
