Apogee Search Executives Share Marketing Insights at Six Events in March 2009

AUSTIN, TX – March 2, 2009 – Today, leading search marketing company, Apogee Search, announced its March 2009 speaking calendar. From Texas to Toronto, Apogee Search executives plan to present at six leading industry conferences, delivering actionable, thought-provoking presentations on a variety of topics pertinent to the challenges and opportunities facing today’s search marketer. RISE 2009 Sessions, March 2-5, 2009:
Kicking off the March speaking circuit, Apogee Search will host two sessions for RISE 2009 at the Apogee Search headquarters on March 5. At 10:00 a.m., Ian Strain-Seymour, Director of Product Development and Strategy, and Cory Barbot, Natural Search Specialist, will lead the first session titled, "Find the Weird in Austin: How and Why to Submit Your Business to Google Local Search.” The second session, to begin at 12:00 p.m., will be led by Apogee Search’s Manager of Website Effectiveness Consulting, Alissa Ruehl, who will give insight into “How to Turn Your Website into a Lead and Revenue Generating Machine.”

PubCon South, March 11-13, 2009:
Participating in PubCon South conference in Austin, TX, Apogee Search’s CEO, William Leake, and Senior Vice President, Brian Combs, will help kick off the event on March 11. Leake will offer attendees insight on conversion optimization and testing, including best practices and tools to improve conversions, split A/B testing and multivariate testing. Combs will speak on a session titled, "Universal and Personal Search - This Changes Everything," examining today’s SERP and exploring how it can radically change SEO. Both sessions run from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m.

What’s Next Boomer Business Summit, March 18-19, 2009:
Speaking on two panels at this year’s What's Next Boomer Summit in Las Vegas, Leake will discuss "Smart Ways to Reach Your Market" at the Entrepreneurship Boot Camp on March 18. On March 19 at 2:00 p.m. during his session, "Reaching Boomers Online," Leake will instruct attendees on how to build successful online, SEO and Ad Word campaigns.

OMMA Global, March 23-24, 2009:
On March 23, Leake will speak at this year’s OMMA Global in Hollywood, CA, on a panel titled, “SEO and Your Advertising: How To Make All Your Online Prgrams More." He will be joined by other industry experts to address effective e-strategies for budget-challenged marketers, discussing ways in which marketers can develop and implement effective search programs.

SES New York, March 24-26, 2009:
On March 26 at 3:45pm, Leake will speak at SES New York on the advanced PPC panel “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark: Black Hat PPC Tactics.” The session will bring together four experts in PPC campaign management who will disclose ways which they assist paid campaigns beyond the normally documented limits generally discussed. Additionally, Alissa Ruehl will offer complimentary website reviews at the SEMJ.org booth 327 during exhibit hall hours. Reviews will be offered in 15-minute increments which attendees will have to sign up for in advance.

SMX Search Analytics, March 31-April 1, 2009:
Ruehl and Strain-Seymour will round out the March speaking tour at the inaugural SMX Search Analytics event in Toronto, Ontario on March 31 and April 1. During Ruehl’s session titled, “Analyzing and Converting Paid Search Traffic,” from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m., she will examine the most effective tactics for getting the most from paid search campaigns with the help from search analytics packages. Strain-Seymour will participate on a panel entitled, “Analytics and Competitive Intelligence” from 3:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. on April 1. The panel will discuss the usefulness of analytics packages to help gain an understanding of the competitive landscape, and use this information to tailor campaigns to maximum advantage.
