Job Description:
The Paid Media Strategist will work with their clients and an account manager to define the accounts’ goals and strategy. They will be responsible for keyword research, keyword selection, ad copy creation, account set-up, campaign execution, campaign strategy and optimization, and bid management and analysis of all assigned paid media accounts. The strategist will analyze, optimize, and refine campaigns to meet clients’ goals, such as ROAS, CPC, CPA, etc., as they helped to define them at the start of the account.
The Paid Media Strategist is not responsible for new business development activities. They are responsible, along with the Account Manager, for the success of their clients’ accounts and for achieving top client satisfaction rating.
This position requires a candidate that excels in client service, data analysis, project management, and balancing established processes with creative thinking.

Responsibilities:
- Achieve success for all clients in your assigned book of business. Help your clients achieve their goals, set new ones (as applicable), and become better and smarter online marketers.
- Define customized PPC strategies to meet your clients’ individual needs.
- Analyze lead or sales performance data to identify campaign optimizations and refinements. Implement these optimizations and communicate them to the client as necessary in order to achieve the clients’ goals.
- Collaborate with other teams as needed, including analytics, IT (information technology), CRO (conversion rate optimization), SEO (search engine optimization), and social media.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 – 4 years of relevant work experience.
- 2 years of paid search, display management, and/or web analytics experience.
- High-level knowledge of Paid Media concepts and best practices.
- Expertise in Google AdWords.
- Knowledge of MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Superior organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build strong working relationships across different teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Math, Linguistics, English, or Economics preferred.
- Google AdWords certification is a plus
- Technical understanding of internet technologies such as HTML and JavaScript is a plus.
- Experience working with designers, development, analytics consultants, and search engine optimization consultants is a plus.
- Experience developing and executing A/B and Multivariate testing (Google Website Optimizer) is a plus.
- Experience working with web analytic applications (Google Analytics, Omniture, Coremetrics, HitsLink, WebTrends or ClickTracks) is a plus.
