SEO Strategist | Austin, TX

Job Description:

The Search Engine Optimization Strategist will work with their clients and an account manager to audit the client’s existing SEO and social activities. Based on this audit, the SEO Strategist will define the program’s goals, strategies and tactics.

The SEO Strategist will identify target keywords, and will provide on-page and off-page recommendations for SEO coding, structure, content, social and linking best practices. The Strategist will track and report on the success of the engagement, providing monthly optimization recommendations. This role does not include design or development implementation.

A successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of providing SEO recommendations and executing successful SEO campaigns for clients, either in-house, on a consultant basis or as part of an agency. This is a client-facing position.

The SEO Strategist is not responsible for new business development activities. They are responsible, along with the Account Manager, for the success of their clients’ campaigns and for achieving top client satisfaction ratings. The client’s SEO results are directly tied to the SEO Strategist’s quarterly and annual reviews.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve success for your clients in your assigned book of business. Help your clients achieve the goals, set new ones, and become better and smarter online marketers.
  • Define customized SEO and social strategies to meet your clients’ unique needs.
  • Analyze lead or sales performance data, rankings data, crawl logs, and site analysis tools to identify opportunities for search engine optimization. Communicate these recommendations to the client as necessary in order to achieve the client’s goals.
  • Create and review detailed campaign performance data and future looking strategic roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including analytics, conversion consulting, creative, and paid search.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 – 8 years of SEO work experience.
  • Technical understanding of SEO best practices and working knowledge of internet technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Senior Paid Media Strategist | Austin, TX

Job description

We are currently seeking a Senior PPC Strategist to join our growing team at Apogee Results. In this role you will handle the day-to-day management of multiple paid search accounts using a combination of native ad platforms, software tools, and scripts. You will be responsible for developing and implementing PPC strategies, managing budgets and bids, optimizing account configurations and targeting, and client reporting.

Core Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute paid search/Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, organization, and management
  • Ongoing optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives, including daily management of campaign budgets, on-site conversion actions, bid management, negative keywords, website and category exclusions, ad creative, and landing page revisions based on performance targets and client objectives.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and the initiative to lead advanced projects
  • Daily use of reporting, analytics, and trend tools
  • Assist account manager with client communications around paid search knowledge, and recommendations to develop and deliver a clear strategic vision to each client
  • Forecast, plan, and work towards achieving account growth objectives
  • Provide opportunity analysis and support sales efforts for prospective clients

 Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university

Paid Media Analyst | Austin, TX

Job Description:

The Paid Media Analyst will work with their clients and an account manager to define the accounts’ goals and strategy. They will be responsible for keyword research, keyword selection, ad copy creation, account set-up, campaign execution, campaign strategy and optimization, and bid management and analysis of all assigned paid media accounts. The analyst will analyze, optimize, and refine campaigns to meet clients’ goals, such as ROAS, CPC, CPA, etc., as they helped to define them at the start of the account.

They are responsible, along with the Account Manager, for the success of their clients’ accounts and for achieving top client satisfaction rating.

Online Marketing Intern | Austin, TX

Apogee Results, the fastest growing search engine marketing agency in the Southwest, has immediate openings for Online Advertising Interns.

Our services include paid search advertising management (PPC), natural search optimization (SEO), web and site consulting. We have a laid back, hands-on, upbeat environment, and we need people that are ready to learn and get things done.

Our internships last for 2 months, after which a paid, part time position is considered. These internships are not about getting coffee or making photocopies. These internships will immerse you in an online advertising consultancy and teach you a variety of basic professional skills. Many of our interns have gone on to become full time employees with Apogee Results.

Characteristics we look for: self-motivated, curious, quick learner, unafraid to ask questions.

The Online Advertising Intern is responsible for assisting with Apogee Results’ service offerings in any of the following:

  • Hands-on, direct involvement with Natural Search (SEO) and Paid Search (PPC) accounts
  • Experience in all aspects of Apogee Results’ service offerings
  • Support of advertising placement and analysis
  • Sitting in on internal meetings and some client meetings

During the academic year or for interns taking classes over the summer, we seek a commitment of 10 to 20 hours per week. Full time internships are also an option during the summer. Schedules are variable depending upon course, employment, and travel requirements. Interns that excel will have the option to continue into the fall.
