Tempted by blogs, spam becomes ’splog’

The interesting thing is that such “techniques” likely have little to no benefit in Google. There is clearly a delay before links provide benefit to Google rankings (e.g. a link must “age”), and any splogs will almost certainly be cleared out before it provides any benefit.
