Google Checkout Predatory says ZDNet

Thursday, June 29th, 2006

Digital Micro Markets:
Donna Bogatin clearly isn’t a fan of Google Checkout. She does everything but call for the antitrust inquisition to begin immediately.

Google and MySpace

Thursday, June 29th, 2006

John Battelle’s Searchblog:

Wednesday, June 21st, 2006

John Battelle’s Searchblog:
Reports are that Google is testing a Cost Per Action network. The interest in this by Google has been rumored for some time, but there haven’t been many indications of actual testing (although Google Base looked to go this way for a while).
It’s very possible that Google sees CPA as a way to [...]

In the last few days, we’ve added a search engine marketing glossary to the Apogee Search site. We are planning to add substantially to it over the coming weeks, but there are already 176 terms defined.

Two Sets of Google Rules

Monday, June 19th, 2006

SEO Egghead:
Jaimie Sirovich points out Google’s hypocracy in allowing The New York Times to actively engage in cloaking its content. While I certainly don’t see anything wrong in what the Gray Lady is doing, Google definitely needs to clarify its policies and let us know when it is ok to do such things.
